What do you think is proof someone is false? See I John 4:1.
1. False teachers use little or NO BIBLE in their message,
Isa.8:19-20; II Tim 4:2.
2. They tell you that God speaks to him/her (Send in $40 etc.
and God told me He will bless you, etc.).
3. What he/she prophecies does not come true, Deut 18:18-
20; Jer. 23:16; 27:9-10; 29:8-9.
4. If prophecy is true, but he/she does not speak according
to the word of God, Deut. 13:1-5.
5. He/she tells you the Bible alone is not enough,
Psa 119:160; John. 8:31-32; II Tim 3:16-17; II Pet. 1:3 4.
6. False teachers contradict the Bible, Romans 3:4; I Cor. 14:33.
Jesus and His word is (are) the truth, John 14:6; 17:17.
7. Women preachers preaching to a mixed group (men and
women), I Cor. 14:34-35; I Tim. 2:10-12. Many of the current
male and female Bible teachers are false teachers.
8. Claims “special revelation” and “miraculous gifts” from
God (these have all ceased), I Cor.13:8-10.
9. Appeals to mystical Holy Spirit feelings and intuition
instead of the word of God, I Cor. 14:33-39, 40
10. Services are not decent and orderly but rather rowdy,
contradicting I Corinthians 12-14; 14:40…unholy laughter,
tongue speaking, slain in spirit are not of God.
11. Teach physical catastrophes—earthquakes, flood, famine,
drought, disease—proof of the Lord’s imminent (soon)
return…NO! Jesus said “NO”-Mt. 7:15; 24:4-8, 29-30, 34.
12. Many do not practice what they preach. Some live in luxury
and wealth, I Tim 6:10. The Bible teaches the laborer is
worthy of his hire is the principle of paying those who serve
us, Gal 6:6, but this should never be abused.
