THE SCRIPTURES TEACH US THAT WE SHOULD DO OUR VERY BEST TO LIVE IN PEACE WITH OTHERS

• “If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men,” Rom 12:18.

• Moreover, if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother, Matt 18:15-22.

•Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me: Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellow servant, even as I had pity on thee? Matt 18:23-35.

• Forgive seven times a day! Luke 17:3-4.

• If you have ought against your brother—leave sacrifice and be reconciled, Matt 5:23-25.

• Lessons from the prodigal son and the elder brother—FORGIVE AND BE FORGIVEN, Luke 15:11-32.

• Speak not evil one of another, James 4:10-12.

• Turn the other cheek, Luke 6:27-29.

• Don’t run in adversity—stay and settle with kindness and forgiveness, Matt 5:29-32.

• Don’t bite and devour one another, Gal 5:15.

• Seek peace and gentleness, II Tim 2:24.

• Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy, Matt 5:7.

• And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God. Gal 6:16-18.

• Overcome evil with good, Rom 12:17-21.

• Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men, Luke 2:14.

• For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost, Rom 14:17.
