1. We are to call no man a fool, Matt 5:22.
2. But Jesus (God) knows when a man is a fool — Rich farmer, Lk 12:16-21.
a. Fool said in HIS HEART – there is no God!!! Psalm 14:1; Psalm 53:1.
• Even without special Revelation we can know two things about God.
✓ According to Romans 1:20 there is a God and He is powerful!! To
deny that is to be foolish and deny the OBVIOUS.
✓ The heavens declare the glory of God and firmament (heavens) His
handiwork, Psalm 19:1.
b. Foolishness is bound up in heart of a child’s heart but the rod of correction
drive it far from him, Prov. 22:15.
c. Which is it? Answer not a fool according to his folly or answer a fool
according to his folly? Prov. 26:4-5. It depends on the situation. Wisdom!
d. Foolish Galatians were perverting the Gospel, but Paul encouraged them not
to do that, Gal. 3:1, 3.
e. Foolish gentiles, Titus 3:3-5.
f. Fools hate knowledge, Prov. 1:22.
g. Fools mock (make fun of) at sin, Prov. 14:9.
h. Fools trust in their heart, Prov. 28:26.
i. Fools walk in darkness, Ecc. 2:14.
3. Apostle Paul talked about his being a FOOL for Christ, I Cor 4:10.
a. The world sees you as a fool.
b. God sees you differently -as the power of God, Rom 1:16; I Cor 1:18.
4. Whose fool are you? OBEY Jesus – FOLLOW Him Today!
